Photography is own view of reality

I like photography very much. In Uruguay I studied photography in the Instituto Nacional de Bellas Artes, but I didn’t finish. When I return my country I will like finish it, because photography is own view of reality.

In my course I showed photo and I working in the laboratory. Is very entertaining, the time files. There were days when I arrived whit the sun and when I came it was night.

Now, in my bedroom in Chile, I have a pictures whit my family, and I have a photo of my cat, this picture was taken and reveled me, is in white and black, it is very lovely. In this photo my cat named Briahana is sleeping in my bed. I like this photo because my cat is beautiful; it is also a way to have around.

In my computer I have hundreds of images of Briahana, since it was a baby until today. Also I have pictures of my house, and beach. In my city are very beautiful sunsets, creates some wonderful colors possible to capture whit the camera.

In my bedroom I also I have a photo whit my brother, in this photo we were in the beach. The image was taken my friend Ana. Was a nice sunny day, and the sky was very blue. I love this image because there are two things I love most, my brother and beach.

The photography is a way to create from what already exist, to favor thing that are part of what our life. I travel often through the images to my house and a distant past, in those moments I find, whit not only people, but also whit feeling, smells and sounds.    

Paedophilia in the church

I think what not most catholic priests are the paedophile people, tough the recent investigation asserted what the priests share profile psychology whit the paedophile people. Maybe, just, is this the cause because the people accept the rules of the Catholic Church, I don’t know... I consider what is unnatural life led the priests.

I do not believe this is new in the church, just that like the most things are stay hidden (as many other things). But this has not been reason for the followers abandoned your beliefs; on the contrary, many people justified this situation, or treated it as isolated case.

I do not know deeply if Karadima case, but I heard for the people or a title page in some newspaper, but I know similar case in Uruguay.

I do not what are the solutions for the paedophile in the Church, because I think the paedophile is a disease but clearly is necessary what the priests have a possibility of having a normal life, whit the wife and children, because not by easy living life alone.  

In conclusion, I think the biggest mistake of the Catholic Church is the ignore that happens, reason why is not possible find a solution.  

The technology in my life or my life in the technology... ?

The technology is important for me because I can communicate with my family and friends, but I don’t know anything the new technology.

My favorite piece of technology is the computer, because I use for talking with my dad, my brother and my friends. My mom doesn’t like the technology, so she calls me for telephone. Also I like the computer because I can read or to find out what is happening in the world.

In my house, in Uruguay, we bought the computer a long time ago, but when I moved to Chile was necessary buy one. Every day I connect to Internet, for two or three hours and the time fly.

If there were no computer (or Internet) probably in this moment I would be in Uruguay, because I couldn’t stay away.

I like the digital camera too, because I love the photography. For me each photo is a way of seining reality. I have an analog camera and a digital camera, the photos generating two are very different, but the digital camera allows for more options.

Free time, the best of life

I love the free time, but in this time of year I haven´t enough. I study and working, and also I takes of household items.

I live with two friends, and the weekend we share the time, sometimes we watch a movie or listen the music, also we a snack or we simply talk. Every so often I go to the theaters or the cinema with other friends.

The Thursday I have a drum lessons, I like very much because I release tension, and I love the rate, it feels is great. Apart from, I meet with other Uruguayan.  

In summer I went to Uruguay, and I shared time with my family and friends. I went the beach in Punta del Este and in Atlántida, where I lived. I sleep much and lost the time, I love lost the time!!!! When I was a child I liked play with friends all day, and I helped my mom.   

In next July I will go again to Uruguay, but in winter is different because the weather is colder, and we can´t go out; anyway is nice stay inside when outside rain, I like really this days.

The next weekend comes a friend from Uruguay, I ‘m very happy, we will visit Santiago, and possibly Valparaíso too.  

I think I don´t use the time very well, but I try.

My first own website

In this moment I’m creating a website about my career for the course TICS. Even I did not define the link, because it is in constructing.

The website regards about the project concerning to immigration in Chile. With my classmates want study the level of integration between foreign people and local people, trough the quantitative research.  

In the website I want mark the principal point and hence deepen them. The key points refer to theoretical framework, state of the arts, instrument, instrument validation and conclusion.

The idea is work with the website every three or four days, depends on the progress of the initial research, but for June must be completed.

I like this project because I have de possibility of expand my knowledge about website, and I can share the information with other peoples interesting in the topic. The idea is that website serves as a link with more similar investigation. I did not decided respect to the esthetic parts, now the most importantly is define the content. I want it to be practical and simpler, because I hate the website in never fin what you are looking…

Talking about me

My name is Evangelina. I’m a second year student of sociology. I studied photography before in my country.

I was born in Montevideo, Uruguay but now I live in Santiago with two friends.

My three favorite words are beach, freedom and Uruguay. Uruguay means river of birds.

My favorite song is Clara of the band NTVG. I’m a vegetarian, but I like milk and yogurt.

In this course I would like to learn english, is very important to communicate with other people around the world. 

Music, cable towards my country

The music is very important to me because by means of her I “travel” towards my country, Uruguay. When I listen Uruguayan music I feel that I’m in my house, I’m feel happiness or sadness, but always is for me very pleasant.

I like the Uruguayan rock, bands as NTVG, Trotsky Vengaran, Cuarteto de Nos and Kurupa & Cia, I love the letter of this band. The song “yo no te pido nada” is very significant for me.

In my country in February is celebrates the Carnaval, people makes sound the drums and the heart vibrates, it fabulous, the body dance only. The candome it was the music of the slaves, but now whole the country enjoys this.

 I don’t like the cumbia, but when I dance it does was important to me. I like to it also the folklore music, as Pablo Estramín or Alfredo Zitarrosa. I love a concert the Viglietti whit Benedetti, is very emotive, the music and the literature is one.

I like buy CDs because is the form of resting of the bands, but in Chile not always I obtain this music, and I download music files from the internet.

In conclusion I thing the music is important for the world because the people it expresses, it connects whit your feeling and shared this feeling.
